Members of the Federal National Council passed 17 recommendations during their third session of the 15th legislative chapter which began on November 11, 2013, and ended on June 24. According to a report, the third session saw 122 questions asked, including 30 from the previous session, and 92 asked by the members. Some 56 questions were answered verbally and 23 in writing.
Social issues took the lion’s share of the questions with 17 questions related to that area. Healthcare issues followed with eight questions, seven about pensions, six about Emiratisation, four about education and two about security.
