A fire broke out at a warehouse in Abu Dhabi today, sending plumes of black smoke across the emirate’s suburb.
The gutted warehouse is located in the Al Mafraq area, said the Abu Dhabi City Municipality.
Civil Defence reached the site and extinguished the fire.
The emirate's municipality has urged members of the public to stay home, not spread rumours and rely on trusted sources for news.
The cause of the fire is not known at the time of publishing.
