Emirates Post releases Mother’s Day postcard

Emirates Post is continuing its celebration of Mother’s Day with the release of a commemorative postcard.

Called “My Mother My Paradise”, the postcard was the result of a competition among employees of Emirates Post Group, under the supervision of the Emirates Philatelic Bureau.

The winning design was submitted by Omar Saeed and was selected after taking into account its symbolism of an Emirati mother, organisers said.

“The release of this postcard is part of the keenness of Emirates Post to highlight the importance of the role of the mother in raising families and societies and educating them,” said Ibrahim bin Karam, chief commercial officer of Emirates Post Group.

Entries were judged on artistic flair, clarity of idea, harmony of colours and elements, consistency and innovation. The postcard is available for sale at all Emirates Post offices.
