Abu Dhabi Government
Government employees have been granted a four-day weekend. The state news agency Wam reported that the holiday will begin on Thursday, with staff returning to work on Monday.
Federal Government
A four-day holiday has also been announced for federal government workers across the country.
UAE private sector
Employees will receive paid holidays on Friday and Saturday, with work resuming on Sunday.
Financial Markets
Holidays for markets across the country will begin on Thursday, with trading resuming on Monday.
