Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, met Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, at Al Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi.

They were joined by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation.

The leaders exchanged Ramadan greetings and also met the representatives of institutions and people who sponsored the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019.

A delegation from the Ministry of Education were at Al Bateen Palace, too, for the launch of a family school application, Adheedak (Arabic for "Your Assistant") that seeks to enhance social cohesion and promote the best educational practices.

The initiative will establish stability in the school community and have a positive impact on pupils' academic, societal and educational performance, state news agency Wam reported.

"Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed witness the launch of Adidok app, a smart interactive platform for the Emirati family. The app aims to promote networking and communication with the school community and follow-up with students and develop their personal and scientific skills," Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed tweeted.
