DUBAI // Housing loans and grants worth Dh218.9 million have been approved for hundreds of Emiratis.
The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme endorsed them for 447 eligible UAE nationals, of whom 317 will receive loans and 130 grants, according to Wam, the state news agency.
The move follows directives of Sheikh Khalifa, the President, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, with the follow-up of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
It was announced during the programme’s board of directors meeting presided over by Dr Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and chairman of the board.
Work on residential projects is proceeding on schedule, said Jamila Alfendi, director-general of the programme.
