Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed arrived in Minsk for his first official visit to Belarus.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces was received at the Independence Palace by President Alexander Lukashenko, Sheikh Mohamed's twitter account said on Friday.

Discussions were set to include "a wide range of issues of mutual interest, analyse the fulfillment of previous arrangements, determine promising avenues in the trade, economic and investment co-operation and in other areas," Belarus News reported.

The two also met in Abu Dhabi in November 2017 and October 2016.
