SHARJAH // A six-year-old girl has fallen to her death from the 15th floor balcony of a residential tower.
The Indian child’s body was found on the ground floor at about 7am on Sunday.
Police said the girl had been left unattended as her father was at work and the mother was accompanying a younger child downstairs to take the school bus.
The case has been referred to Al Buheera Police Station for follow-up investigations, reported Al Ittihad, the sister newspaper of The National.
Officers are also investigating the death of an 11-year-old girl from Cameroon, who drowned in a hotel pool in Al Nahda area. The girl was visiting the country with her parents.
