The Dar Al Ber Society distributed gifts to orphans and low-income patients at a hospital in Ras Al Khaimah over the Eid Al Adha holiday.
The Feast Joy 2014/1435 project was launched in collaboration with the RAK Public Prosecution, Al Mataf School for Basic Education, Emirates Markets Corp, and a number of civil society organisations.
Eid gifts and clothes were also distributed to children and women in all sections at the Saqr Hospital, particularly in the paediatrics and maternity wards.
Ali Abdullah Al Shehi, manager of Dar Al Ber Society’s RAK branch, said that the gifts are meant to ease patients’ suffering, show them sympathy, and make them happy.
