The National, in partnership with the UAE Space Agency and Boeing, is proud to announce the launch of ‘The National’s Space Programme’. This programme features two competitions, one of which is Genes in Space which challenges students from grades 7-12 to design a DNA amplification experiment using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process to be conducted in the microgravity environment aboard the International Space Station. Submissions are open from November 24 to February 3.
