The GCC has condemned the terrorist attack on a UAE aid convoy in Somalia.
Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, secretary general of the GCC, said the “cowardly attack” on Wednesday was committed by criminals devoid of all Islamic and humanitarian values and principles. The attack was against a relief aid convoy performing humanitarian work for Ramadan.
Dr Al Zayani offered condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Somalia, wishing those injured a fast recovery.
