FUJAIRAH // Al Ansari Exchange, a UAE-based money transfer company, has opened a call centre run by 78 Emirati women.
“It is the first-ever marketing call centre for Al Ansari Exchange which employs nearly 97 per cent of UAE nationals, in line with the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s, Absher initiative for Emiratisation,” said Rashid Al Ansari, the general manager.
“Choosing Fujairah to launch our new call centre follows the great support we are receiving from the Government of Fujairah and is part of the company’s policy of nationalization.”
Employees were given a six-month training course in order to introduce them to the company and techonologies, said Mohammed Al Zyoodi, the director of Human Resources.
The women have been employed for full-time and part-time positions.
