Free parking in Dubai for Israa wal Miraj

DUBAI // Parking will be free in Dubai on Sunday, April 23 to mark Israa wal Miraj.

Fees must still be paid at the Fish Market parking zone and in multistorey parking lots, the Roads and Transport Authority said.

And all parking fees will resume on Monday, April 24.

Bus timings will also be affected by the holiday, with main stations such as the Gold Souk station and the Al Ghubaiba station operating until midnight but starting at 4.25am and 4.30am respectively.

Sub-stations such as Al Satwa will run from 4.57am to 11.35pm and Al Qusais will operate from 4.30am to midnight.

Al Quoz Industrial station will run its service from 5am to 11.30pm and the Jebel Ali bus station will open from 5am to midnight.

The Dubai Tram will run from 6.30am to 1.30am the next day.

Those travelling by Metro on are advised that the Red Line station will operate from 5.30am to midnight and while the Green Line stations will also run until midnight, they will start operating at 5.50am.
