DUBAI // All flights to and from Dubai International Airport are back to their regular schedules, according to its parent company.
“Dubai Airports confirms that it has lifted all remaining capacity restrictions at DXB and the airport is back to normal operation,” it said yesterday.
Flights had been cancelled, diverted or delayed since Emirates EK521 crashed there on Wednesday afternoon. By prioritising large aircraft, Dubai Airports said it was able to “return to regular scheduled activity sooner than anticipated”.
“We continue to work with our airline partners and stakeholders in order to ensure that the few remaining passengers affected by the disruption reach their ultimate destination as soon possible.”
