A fire broke out at a warehouse in Ras Al Khor on Sunday.
A Dubai Civil Defence spokesman said there were no fatalities or injuries, and said efforts to put out the blaze were still under way.
“We received the complaint at 11.23am and five units were dispatched to the scene,” he said. “Preliminary reports show that the warehouse was storing plastic and/or tires because of the black smoke emanating from the place.”
The units included Al Rashidiya, Al Karama, Al Qouaz, Port Saeed and Al Ras.
