Fire destroys five warehouses in Sharjah industrial area

The blaze in Industrial Area 3 began in one warehouse and quickly spread to adjacent buildings before fire crews arrived.

SHARJAH // A fire gutted five warehouses in Sharjah’s industrial area in the early hours of Sunday.

The blaze in Industrial Area 3 began in one warehouse and spread quickly to adjacent buildings before fire crews arrived.

Civil defence crews from Samnan, Mweileh and Sharjah headquarters extinguished the fires by 9am.

The site was handed over to forensic teams to discover the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
