ABU DHABI // A fire that broke out at the temporary offices of Masdar on the outskirts of Masdar City has been brought under control by Abu Dhabi Civil Defence.
The fire, which started at approximately 1.30am on Sunday, caused damage to Block 1 and 2, which is a section of the company’s temporary offices.
No injuries were reported and no Masdar City buildings were affected.
According to a statement from Masdar, the fire was extinguished and Civil Defence is now looking into what caused the incident.
This is the second fire within a week at Masdar city, the first originated in a heat exchanger linked to Masdar Institute's pilot Beam Down Project.
