Filipina falls to death from building in Sharjah

The 40-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene after falling from the building in the Al Majaz area.

SHARJAH // A 40-year-old Filipino woman fell to her death from the third floor of a building in Al Majaz.

The operations room at Sharjah Police was notified of the incident at 3am on Sunday. An ambulance was sent to the scene but paramedics found the woman was already dead.

Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister newspaper of The National, reported that the prosecutor had ordered the body to be sent to the crime laboratory to determine the cause of death, while the case had been referred to Al Buhaira Police Station for investigation.
