The public are being invited to review and comment on newly released drafts of radiation safety regulations.
The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (Fanr) published its Regulation 26 and Fanr Regulation 18 documents to the public, reported Wam, the state news agency.
The regulations set the requirements for the disposal of radioactive waste.
The draft regulations can be viewed here.
Members of the public will be able to send in their comments to regulation@fanr.gov.ae until December 4.
