The weather should be fair for the upcoming long weekend, with little chance of rain to dampen the UAE’s birthday celebrations on Wednesday.
The week will start out partly cloudy, with a mainly gentle breeze and dry skies everywhere except the west, which could see some rain. There will be highs of around 30°C.
Humidity will rise in the evening and overnight all week, creating a chance of mist or fog in some parts.
Conditions will be similar on Monday, with a chance of early mist or fog in the west, which could also see some rain.
On Tuesday, the first day of the three-day holiday from work for the public and private sectors, internal areas could wake to mist or fog, and there may be some spots of rain in the west. It will be overcast everywhere else.
The rain should clear by Wednesday, leaving partly sunny skies and highs of up to 31°C in the cities on the coast - perfect conditions to watch Al Forsan's aerobatic display from 4pm to 5pm over Abu Dhabi's Corniche.
The weather on Thursday will be similar.
There will however be an additional risk of mist or fog in the early hours in internal areas.
