UAE weather: Fog in Abu Dhabi to make way for a hot day

It is going to be another sweltering day in the UAE, the National Centre of Meteorology says.

Temperatures should reach a maximum of 46°C in Abu Dhabi and 45°C in Dubai on Friday. It will be partly cloudy throughout the day.

Forecasters have issued a warning for some coastal parts of the UAE over morning fog, which will probably stay until 8am.

Winds will be light to moderate during the day and are expected to reach a maximum of 30kph near the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

The hot conditions are expected to stay on Saturday.
