UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi haze to persist

  • English
  • Arabic

The UAE will continue to experience hazy conditions due to low clouds and high humidity.

The National Centre for Meteorology forecasts temperatures in Abu Dhabi to range from 30°C to 38°C, and 31°C to 39°C in Dubai.

The weather bureau says that winds may cause dust storms resulting in poor visibility, especially over the west of the country. Drivers are urged to take extra precaution.

Inland and by the coast, humidity could reach up to 80 per cent, while in mountain areas it should be a maximum of 70 per cent.

Conditions are expected to be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Sea of Oman.

The fog is expected to continue into the weekend.
