DUBAI // Details about the centrepiece pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will be announced at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which starts on Thursday.

An exhibition stand at the event, which runs through January 21, will feature information about the Expo’s Sustainability Pavilion, its design and the Expo’s strategy for a cleaner world, reported Wam, the state news agency.

The event will also host the World Future Energy Summit, focusing on identifying and discussing solutions to the world’s energy and sustainability challenges.

The Expo’s participation in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is a “a natural fit” because the event highlights the UAE’s progressive sustainability agenda, said Marjan Faraidooni, vice president of legacy impact and development for Expo 2020 Dubai.

The construction of the Sustainability Pavilion and other installations are scheduled to be completed at least a year before the Expo, which will open to the public on October 20, 2020.

  • Unregulated structured products or complex investments often used to bypass traditional safeguards.
  • Lack of clear information, vague language, no access to audited financials.
  • Overseas companies targeting investors in other jurisdictions - this can make legal recovery difficult.
