Four Emirati doctors recently took part in observership training at the Cleveland Clinic in the US.
Organised by the Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, the programme strengthened the importance of experience exchange with major global medical institutions.
“The success of the programme on the ground is an incentive for the Hamdan Medical Award to organise a number of similar programmes in the future for a larger segment of doctors from all health authorities and institutions within the UAE,” said Prof Najib Al Khaja, secretary-general of the award. “This 10 day-programme is one of the educational medical programmes accredited from the Cleveland Clinic in the US, in which 600 specialists from more than 65 countries attend annually.”
