Egyptian President to make first official UAE visit

The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El Sisi will make his first official visit to the UAE on January 18.

Ambassador Alaa Youssef, spokesman of the Egyptian Presidency, said that President El-Sisi’s visit to the country is an occasion to express Egypt’s appreciation for the UAE’s support in the wake of the June 30 Revolution.

The ambassador hailed the strong relations between the two countries, saying that the UAE’s leadership and people occupy a special place in the hearts of Egyptians.

During his visit, President El Sisi will participate in the opening of the World Future Energy Summit, held during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, at the invitation of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
