UAE students given deadline for higher education application amendments



DUBAI // High school seniors wanting to amend applications for higher education institutions must do so by July 9.

The National Admissions and Placement Office, at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has stated this is the cut-off date.

Institutions affected include UAE University, Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University, the institutes and colleges of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Emirates College for Advanced Education and external scholarships for the academic year 2015-2016.

The NAPO carried out a number of academic counselling programmes for 12th graders for the academic year 2014-2015 to introduce them to the admission and registration process, higher education programmes and opportunities available for students.
