Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has issued orders to provide Dubai’s public libraries with the latest publications and resources with a total value up to Dh1 million.
Sheikh Hamdan’s gesture aims to encourage reading and enrich public libraries in Dubai.
His directives came during a soirée organised by Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre and Hamdan bin Mohammed Initiative of Literary Creativity on the sideline of the Sharjah International Book Fair.
