ABU DHABI // Two Dubai schools are to use a formal partnership to share expertise. They say the arrangement will allow each school to address problem areas that were highlighted by inspectors. The not-for-profit Indian High School - one of just a handful of Indian schools to attain the second-highest rank "good" in Dubai school inspections - will partner with the Zabeel School, a public school for girls which was also judged "good".

Teachers from Zabeel will work with the Indian High School to revamp the Arabic curriculum. In exchange, the Indian High School will help Zabeel with information technology. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority, the Dubai government agency that regulates private schools, said it was one of six partnerships to grow out of school inspections. klewis@thenational.ae
