Private school operator Taaleem is set to launch a new Dubai British School this September in Nakheel’s Jumeirah Park development.

The 28,500 square metre, purpose built campus, will offer an array of facilities that will provide flexible learning spaces, sporting facilities and a 500 seat theatre.

The company already operates six schools and four early childhood facilities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

“Our high performing Dubai British School in the Springs has been open now for 10 years is at capacity and is very much in demand,” said Taaleem CEO Ros Marshall said at a “topping out” ceremony Wednesday. “We hope that by opening nearby sister branch we can satisfy more requests from parents aspiring to a British education.”
