Microsoft teams up with Ajman



AJMAN // Ajman University of Science and Technology has teamed up with Microsoft to improve IT training at the university. The two organisations have signed an agreement to introduce staff and students to the latest software and enable the university to carry out Microsoft-certified training courses. Dr Ahmed Dabbagh, the university's academic e-services director, said: "Our aim is to provide students with the highest levels of technical and professional training? using advanced e-solutions to our methods of teaching. We are preparing our students for the future."

Khalid Lootah, public service director for Microsoft Gulf, said: "A key part of our work is providing teachers with the skills, training and curriculum they need to make technology an integral part of classroom instruction." @email:dbardsley@thenational.ae
