Fujairah Educational Zone has issued warnings to private schools in the emirate for various violations to the rules and regulations set by the Ministry of Education.
A Pakistani villa school received a warning and was given a grace period of one year to build new premises according to the ministry’s criteria for school buildings.
A private Indian school received a warning in addition to a Dh5,000 fine for increasing school fees without notifying the educational zone.
Another Indian school in Dibba Al Fujairah was warned and fined for overcrowded classes while a Pakistani school received a warning for failing to complete its SAS system data, Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister paper of The National reported.
