A number of universities will be providing a comprehensive description of the courses they offer when Dubai stages an education exhibition in October. New York Film Academy, Rochester Institute of Technology, Al Ghurair University and Gulf Medical University Ajman are among the institutions that will be exhibiting at Education Middle East, which runs from Oct 8 to 11 at Knowledge Village.
Career advice will also be available to students through seminars and counselling programmes. Dr Ayoub Kazim, the executive director of Dubai Knowledge Village and Dubai International Academic City, said he was delighted to be hosting the event. "It will bring the student community closer to the educational fraternity present in the region," he said. "It will also serve as an ideal networking platform, providing the latest perspectives on education. Such activities contribute to our goal of creating an environment that strengthens the educational system not just in the UAE but throughout the region."
Before attending the exhibition, students are required to register online at www.edume.ae to indicate their career preferences. The exhibition is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
