About 500 distinguished secondary school pupils have been granted scholarships to study at the University of Sharjah and the American University of Sharjah.
Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed, Supreme Council Member, has approved the list of scholarships, which are applicable for the 2015-2016 academic year.
Dr Rashid Al Leem, chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, said that the authority provides scholarships to provide pupils with the necessary resources to develop their skills and prepare them adequately for entering the job market.
