More than 25,000 runners are expected to participate in an annual Standard Chartered Marathon said to be held in January.
The participants will run three races, the marathon, a 10 km race, and a 4 km fun run.
“The race may still be over four months away but we are already seeing a large number of athletes going online to register for the various categories,” said the event director, Peter Connerton.
The race is a major sports even for both professional and amateur runners, and will take place on January 15.
