Tributes have been paid following the death of Sheikh Mansour bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani.

Sheikh Mansour was the son of Sheikha Mariam bint Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the sister of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Mansour will be buried at the Umm Hurair cemetery in Bur Dubai on Tuesday following funeral prayers at the Zabeel Mosque.

UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Arwar Gargash tweeted his condolences to the family.

“We will miss you, brother bou Ahmad,” he said. “May God have wide mercy on his soul and inspire his parents and relatives with patience and consolation.”
