DUBAI // A drunk restaurant customer poked the stomach of a waitress before hitting her breast, a court heard on Wednesday morning.
The Filipina waitress told prosecutors that Saudi FA, 36, laughed with his friends as he made a fool of her.
On August 7, he was drunk at the restaurant where the waitress, MG, worked, she said.
The 28-year-old was taking the table-of-four’s order when FA poked her belly. She told him his actions were ridiculous.
“He told me it’s not ridiculous but this is, then he stroked my breast violently in an upwards motion,” said MG.
She told prosecutors that he started laughing loudly with is friends when he did so.
Egyptian waiter AK, 25, said he saw the whole incident.
The Saudi man, who was not present in court to enter a plea, is facing charges of consuming alcohol illegally and sexually assaulting the waitress.
A verdict will be delivered on October 1.
