Narcotic officers from Ajman Police arrested five men on suspicion of drug abuse and trafficking in four different cases. The suspects were accused of trafficking opium, hashish and Tramadol pills. The first suspect, an Asian, was caught placing more than three kilograms of opium in a trash bin to be picked up by another party. In the second case, two Arab men in their 20s were arrested for possession of hashish and Tramadol. In the third case, an Arab man was arrested for possession of 2,672 Tramadol pills and 82 grams of hashish. A Gulf national was arrested for possession of 4,408 Tramadol pills. All were referred to public prosecution.
