A driver was killed and his wife and two young children hurt after he was involved in a road crash in Ajman while not wearing a seat belt and being distracted by his mobile phone.
The Arab man, 49, lost control of his vehicle and smashed into a barrier on Al Ittihad Road in the emirate.
The motorist's wife, 35, and children, aged three and four, required hospital treatment for minor injuries.
