As of Thursday evening the country will be subject to weather instabilities resulting from low pressure over southeast Iran, accompanied by a mass of cool air in the upper atmosphere leading to an accumulation of clouds.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said northwesterly winds will gradually pick up on Thursday evening, continuing until Friday morning, particularly over the seas.
This will lead to sand and dust storms in open areas. Wind speeds will reach 35kph to 60kph in coastal areas and 40kph to 45kph inland.
On Friday, temperatures will be about 25°C in the north. At the weekend, the weather will be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered showers, accompanied by a drop in temperatures and mild to strong winds.
