DUBAI // Patients can soon opt to have their medicine delivered to their doorstep under a new measure by the Dubai Health Authority.
Dr Ali Sayed, director of pharmaceutical services department at the DHA, said the move aims to provide patients with convenience, especially the elderly and those living in remote areas. The DHA is also in the process of implementing a smart pharmacy system across the emirate using robots to arrange medicines and dispense medication to reduce patient waiting times by up to 90 per cent.
