Bilateral trade between the UAE and Bahrain reached Dh98.4 billion between 2009 and 2013, Khalid Ali Al Bustani, acting director general of the Federal Customs Authority has said.
This came during a meeting that Mr Al Bustani held on Tuesday with a visiting delegation from Bahrain Customs, led by its chairman Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, state news agency Wam reported.
Mr Al Bustani said direct non-oil trade with Bahrain stood at Dh43.3 billion and free zone trade at Dh55.1 billion during that period.
