AJMAN // Residents at residential buildings operated by Askaan Property will now find it easier to get their point across after the developer provided complaints boxes that it is calling “Happiness boxes”.

The property company has started installing the boxes at the entrance of its towers to encourage residents to offer their suggestions and problems, said Safa Musa, an assistant manager at Askaan Property.

“Their happiness is our aim and we want to hear their opinions and suggestions to improve the services, provide them comfort, safety and happiness,” said Ms Musa.

“If we take from each building just one suggestion that would benefit the tenants, this would be a success for us.”

Sedki Khalil, an Egyptian businessman who has been living in Askaan Tower for 10 years, said the boxes were a great idea.

“It gives us an opportunity to quickly send our complaints or suggestions to the administration to provide us the best services,” said the 74-year-old.

Habiba Al Kamali, a housewife from Oman, added that it allowed her to make anonymous complaints.

“If there is a problem, I can now write it in a piece of paper and drop it in the box without mentioning who I am,” said the 27-year-old Askaan Tower resident.
