Hotel guests were evacuated from the Movenpick Hotel in Dubai's Jumeirah Beach Residences district after a small blaze broke out on Monday morning.
Fire sent smoke gusting down the main street near the popular public beach.
The hotel's management said guests and staff were led safely from the building.
"Thanks for ur concern," the hotel tweeted.
"The fire was swiftly brought under control & guests & staff were safely evacuated. Our gratitude to Civil Defence."
The fire is the third notable incident in recent days after a blaze tore through The Torch early on Friday morning.
Residents are awaiting news of the cause and many remain in hotels around the tower.
