ABU DHABI // Prosecutors claim a woman who accused a taxi driver of rape is merely a prostitute angry at not being paid.

The woman, from Indonesia, accused the Pakistani taxi driver of rape after he refused to pay her following intercourse, they claim.

Prosecutor Ayman Hanafi said forensics reports showed that there were no signs that the woman put up any resistance.

The case is being referred to the Criminal Court.
