Prostitute jailed for six months in Dubai

The Criminal Court heard that the 30-year-old Uzbekistani KK entered the country illegally through the Omani border before she started prostituting herself.

DUBAI // A prostitute has been sentenced to six months in prison.

The Criminal Court heard that the 30-year-old Uzbekistani KK entered the country illegally through the Omani border before she started prostituting herself.

She travelled from Uzbekistan to Oman last March before moving onto the UAE. Prosecutors said that she charged men Dh100 for sex. They said that she confessed to the charge during interrogations. The woman will be deported after completing her prison term.
