The owner of a mobile-phone shop forced an employee to write a cheque for Dh233,000 that bounced, an Abu Dhabi court heard yesterday.
J A, from Yemen, said he had to sign the cheque after an Afghan man he entrusted to sell goods ran away.
The case was adjourned to April 14.
