DUBAI // A 41-year-old man from Abu Dhabi has confessed to being under the influence of drugs when he collided with another car.
The Emirati man, identified only as S M, was en route to Dubai when he lost of control of his steering wheel and collided with another vehicle, causing it “absolute damage”, prosecutors said.
S M confessed this morning in the Dubai Criminal Court to charges of consuming drugs, driving under the influence of drugs, recklessly driving a vehicle, and damaging a vehicle after colliding with it while driving under the influence.
He awaits a verdict on July 16.
