DUBAI // A mall security guard who filmed up the skirts of female shoppers was yesterday jailed for six months.
J?M, a 32-year-old Indian, was arrested after a complaint from a Russian businesswoman who was shopping at Ibn Battuta Mall on October 11.
A fellow shopper told her the guard had filmed up her skirt while she looked at clothes, so she reported him to another security guard.
After his arrest, investigators found 33 obscene clips on his camera. Eleven of them had been deleted but were recovered by police technicians.
The guard admitted filming the footage, along with a charge of sexual assault.
The Criminal Court ordered that he be deported after serving his jail term.
