DUBAI // Two drivers kidnapped and raped a truck loader at Al Aweer Fruit and Vegetable Market, a court heard today.
AA, 25 and MN, 26, both from Pakistan, dragged the man to a vacant plot of land near the market before assaulting him and taking turns to rape him.
"They called me on my mobile and asked me to come and I refused. Shortly after they came to the market and dragged me to the plot and attacked me," recalled the loader.
"They then threatened to attack me and my brother if I reported the incident to the police."
The next day he reported the pair and police arrested them.
The Criminal Court charged them with kidnap, sexual assault, illegal use of alcohol and making verbal threats.
The case was adjourned to June 4.
