DUBAI // A businessman broke his older brother's knee when he threw him out of his apartment, a court heard today.
He then assaulted his nephew when the younger man came to help.
Prosecutors told the Criminal Court that MA, 41, from Iran, threw his brother TA, 45, out of the apartment on May 20 last year after an argument.
The older brother fell to the ground, breaking a bone in his knee.
When the nephew AM, 31, attended the scene, the younger brother punched him.
A medical report found the knee had sustained permanent damage.
MA did not appear in court to enter a plea and the case was adjourned to March 24.
